Over 30 Years of Experience

Pioneering Absorption

YAZAKI Environment and Energy Equipment Operations (EEEO) milestones

Since the very start of our operations YAZAKI has cared about the environmental implications of its business. As YAZAKI grew, the company entered new business sectors – including the Environment and Energy Equipment Sector.

YAZAKI developed its first Aroace absorption chillers in 1970 and thus pioneered the absorption cooling market by setting up the first mass production of small to medium sized absorption chillers.

Indeed YAZAKI pioneered the absorption cooling business in many ways. In 1974 YAZAKI designed the world’s first solar powered air conditioning system at “Solar House 1”. In 1977 YAZAKI started the production of its Aroace water fired chillers, which became quickly known as YAZAKI WFC series. The WFC enabled customers to generate comfortable conditions independent from electric supplies and opened the door to renewable cooling solutions.

Over the last 30 years YAZAKI has gained significant experience in developing, designing and manufacturing absorption chillers. This experience enabled YAZAKI to refine its technology as well as its range of products, achieving product reliability second to none. Today YAZAKI is regarded not only as the pioneer of absorption, but also as a worldwide leader for small to medium sized absorption chillers.

The following table provides an overview of the years of successful, integrated personnel and customer management maintained by the tradition and high standards YAZAKI has upheld to the present day.
