Direct Heat fired by Gas
Direct-fired chillers driven by gas are very energy efficient as they run in double-effect mode with high COPs.
Characteristics of direct heat fired by gas applications:
- Driving energy is provided by natural gas
- Natural gas-fired chiller/heaters CH K & CH MG work with double effect thermo-cycle
- The piping infrastructure in a modern building may be used for both cooling or heating distribution
- Low electrical consumption for an absorption cooling machine, thus alleviating strain on electricity grids by replacing conventional demand peaks for cooling purposes
- Ideal application where power supply is scarce, unsafe or inefficient
